In 2008 three Helsinian musicians from The Beheading thirsted for starting a band in which they could have made use of their love for pitchy death metal and H.P. Lovecraft’s works. Musicians in question are Otso Ukkonen, Ville Snicker and Antti Kotiranta. It all came of really well. It’s a kind of brutal soundtrack for books by the genius weirdo from Providence. It’s dominated by riffs soaked in tar and wacky climate. It can be most vividly seen on their second album from 2016 “Remnants of Expansion”, rightly plastered with praise. Anyway, everything made by the quartet from the capital of Finland is worth listening.
